The family run hotel Knorre resides directly on the bank of the river Elbe in Meißen, in the green space of the nature conservated meadows of the Elbe. The hotel is located directly on the well-known "Saxonian wine route" and the bicycle lane of the river Elbe. Let your soul dangle and view the steamboats up and downstream the river Elbe. Enjoy the wonderful view to the Albrechtsburg castle, the Dome of Meissen and the pictoresque floodplains of the Elbe river.

Tour the historical Old Town of Meissen and visit the "Albrechtsburg", the cathedrale and the church with its famous carillon. Discover the history of porcelain in the National Manufacture and sample different delicious wines in the cellars at the Saxon wine route. In Moritzburg you visit the summer residence of August II the Strong or you ramble in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and conquer the Königstein Fortress.
